Customizing your LinkedIn URL to easily add to business cards and quickly direct people to your profile

Here’s something that would take two minutes and is worth doing.  Customizing your LinkedIn Profile URL 

Customize your LinkedIn Profile URL, follow these three steps.

1) Go to LinkedIn public profile settings and confirm you are logged in -> http://www.linkedin.com/profile/public-profile-settings

2)  Click on Customize your public URL, located on the bottom right of the page

3) A pop up will come up where you can put in your name and set customize URL (It will be green with checkmark, if it’s available)  Add your name and click on “Set Custom URL”! 

You are Done!  Your new URL is visible in your public profile and can easily be used in business cards and makes it easy to refer to.
